ProTilo helps you reflect on your wellbeing through gentle daily check-ins. If something is not working as expected, the answers below cover the most common questions. For anything else, please reach us at support@protilo.com — we typically reply within 2 business days.


How do I delete my account?

Open the app → Settings → Safety → Delete Account. You will be asked to type DELETE and re-enter your password. Your account is queued for deletion and irreversibly removed within 7 days. You can sign back in during that window to cancel the deletion.

How do I export my data (GDPR Article 20)?

Open the app → Settings → Safety → Request Data Export. We acknowledge the request immediately and deliver a copy of your data via email within 30 days, in a machine-readable format (JSON).

I forgot my password

On the login screen, tap Forgot password? and enter your account email. You will receive a reset link within a few minutes. Check your spam folder if you do not see it.

Push notifications are not arriving

  1. Open iOS Settings → Notifications → ProTilo and confirm "Allow Notifications" is ON.
  2. Inside the app: Settings → Notifications — confirm the toggles for Daily Reminder / Insights / Streaks are ON.
  3. If you signed out and signed back in, your device push token is re-registered automatically on next launch.

My HealthKit data is not appearing

ProTilo only reads sleep, step count, heart rate, and HRV from Apple Health when you grant explicit permission. Open iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Health → ProTilo and confirm those four categories are toggled ON. ProTilo never writes anything back to Apple Health.

Face ID / Touch ID stops working

If you toggled the Settings → Safety → Face ID lock and the prompt no longer appears, sign out and sign back in. The app re-registers the biometric guard on the next launch.

How do I withdraw consent for health data processing?

Open the app → Settings → Privacy & Data → Manage Consents. Withdrawing health-data consent will require us to delete the associated health data and will substantially limit Service functionality, because health data is the core of the Service.

How do I use AI Analysis Export?

Open a journal entry → tap the AI Analysis button. ProTilo generates a text prompt, copies it to your clipboard, and offers a deep-link to your preferred third-party AI app (Gemini, Claude, or ChatGPT). You choose whether to paste. See our AI Transparency document for full detail.

I think I found a bug

Please send a short description plus, if possible, a screenshot to support@protilo.com. Including your device model, iOS version, and approximate time of the issue helps us diagnose faster.

I want to report a security issue

Email security@protilo.com. We welcome coordinated disclosure of security issues and will not pursue good-faith security researchers.
